Kudo competition training schedule

Members planning to compete in the Kudo World Cup in February or the Arnold Classic in March need to start preparing now. Please find a basic training schedule for November to January below. Please talk to me before class for a resistance training programme and to discuss combinations that will suit your fighting style.

Sun Long slow jog, or rest if sore
Mon 6pm – Resistance training
7pm – Karate class
8pm – Kumite class
Tues Judo class

or

Basic technique routine on heavy bag (10 x all individual strikes)
10 x 3min rounds drilling combinations on heavy bag
30min jog/sprints/fartlek running

Wed 6pm – Resistance training
7pm – Karate class
8pm – Kumite class
Thur Judo class

or

Basic technique routine on heavy bag
10 x 3min rounds drilling combinations on heavy bag
30min jog/sprints/fartlek running

Fri Rest or catch up on any missed training sessions
Sat 10am – Jujutsu class
11am – Kumite class
